Water Week

Continuing on the water theme from Torquay, my first run since I got back to Melbourne and I decided to run the Maribyrnong River – to the red bridge – 6K

At 7am this morning there were about 400 hundred people around the river – rowers, runners, running groups ( one was 30+ strong) exercise groups, walkers, it was hectic.

The Maribyrnong River track is very flat except for the bridges but it can be windy and because it weaves in all directions you get the feeling that the wind is always in your face.

About offthelongrun

Born in the UK in 1961 - I migrated to Australia in 1991. I've never been overweight, but I drink and eat too much and probably run too much nowadays!
