Different

Getting used to this, running with company lark. I really enjoy it, different tracks, different people, different days.

Same group, different people from the Sunday crowd apart from the organiser and myself, but we still ran at a conversational pace around Princes Park – 2 laps, one counter clockwise and one clockwise. The group consists of many different ages, professions, nationalities and paces.

Two runs and there have been about 15 different people,  a couple of Americans, a Spaniard, a few Asians, plenty of POM’s and a couple of Aussies. Ages range from early twenties to mid fifties and the pace is whatever you want it to be: easy, hard, fast or slow, there always seems to be someone else to run with. It lacks hierarchy which is great.

About offthelongrun

Born in the UK in 1961 - I migrated to Australia in 1991. I've never been overweight, but I drink and eat too much and probably run too much nowadays!
