Another early morning run – “yea like you run any other time” I here you say. A 5k race pace was the order of the morning, but within 100m I knew that something was wrong. My groin (adducter) was sore as. I could’ve carried on but I was mindful of causing a longer term injury, so I turned around and walked home.
I now have two days rest until a 19k run, which on face value seems a long way off. I’m praying that I can recover quickly or at least be able complete the remaining two week training and run a half decent half.
