First run today in 5 weeks and it was unplanned and on the treadmill. I’ve been diagnosed with every leg ailment known to man in the past six months, so the latest synopsis is being taken with a grain of salt – the rock kind which apparently is far healthier.
I went to the gym this morning to concentrate on my upper body and after I warmed up on the bike I decided to give the tready a go. Started off at a pedestrian 7kph and ended up doing 2k in a tad over 12 minutes. I felt a little discomfort to begin with but by the end I was free, although I was sweating buckets as it was so hot in there.
I have three gym sessions this week and will try to squeeze in 5k run also. Whilst I appear to be going backwards, Michelle hit a new milestone this week – 62.8kgs, that’s a loss of 36.2kgs in 3.5 years – incredible.
