In the post box today:
What? I’d almost forgotten about the race. Do I persevere with the “half” or should I down grade to the 10k or even the 5k? My knee feels good at the moment, it feels stronger than it has in years due to the last three weeks gym sessions to strengthen my legs.
I still reckon I can run 21.1k in under 2 hours at a nice even 5:40k per minute with a few walk breaks thrown in. But, there’s always a but! What if I break down? I’ll make my decision in the next couple of weeks but I really want to do the “half”.
