And Now for The Big One

Six days into a 12 week 1/2 marathon plan and it’s been relatively sedate thus far but, (why is there always a “but”?) every week ends with a long run. Tomorrow Andrew and I head to Gellibrand Hill for a relaxed 15k. Now I’ve never run around Gellibrand before and therefore do not know what to expect. However the “Hill” part on the end is a concern as it generally triggers thoughts of a mini Everest.

Today’s run was a gentle 5k which started off slowish but I came home pretty quickly:

Got an email in the week from the “West Ham Megastore” who were advertising 75% off. So we had a look  – T shirts for $11 and replica football shirts for $15 -here in Aus they are $145 and that’s if you can find one! – West Ham are not as well supported as Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea etc, so supplies are usually limited.

Placed an order for 4 shirts and a track top for the grand total of $80 and received this tracking advice; I think it may well be going more than half way round the world:

Yes, but would you really want to wear one of those in public?

I suppose it could be worse, it could be Millwall.

Pity they are going down – Up the Wolves!!!

  3. Still life yet TC – although Wolves are in the same boat.
