Not the “Biggest Loser”

Well we all sat down to watch the “Biggest Loser” and quickly realised that it’s not on tonight and because of the opening game of the AFL it’s a double tomorrow night – 2 hour show. My prediction is Carlton by 26 points. The kids are devastated, go figure, they have less than 1g of fat between them but are keen on the competition and drama of it all – that’s the Biggest Loser not the football.

The AFL is a bit like the Premier League in the UK where there are over 80% of teams that cannot and will not win this years premiership. Difference is that the EPL is not constricted by salary caps, so money talks and wins premierships.

After the humidity of Tuesday’s run, it was a really pleasant morning today, although there was a fairly stiff breeze. I felt really good for change and decided midway through to cover the long tempo run this week which was 9k. It also happens to be my longest run this preparation.
