What are the chances?

Been on my travels again – Brisbane, heat and humidity put paid to any running I had planned although I had a run on both Monday and Tuesday before my trip and a run when I got back yesterday (Thursday)

All three runs (6, 7 & 7k’s) were around the 5:30minutes per k.

I tried selecting my seat on the Qantas website before I left, but there was a problem with the site. So on Tuesday morning I get a text from Qantas telling my seat is 30C and I have no idea where this seat is and being a fussy traveler I always want an aisle seat – you get more room on the aisle.

Unsure of where my seat is I ask customer service if I could have an exit row seat and an aisle – luckily I got 34B and once seated I was aware of my fellow passenger in 34A who sounded exactly like a friend of mine in the UK.

Never gave it another thought until I was early for an appointment near the airport and decided to grab a bite from the DFO. I chose a kebab and at the exactly same time my fellow passenger from flight the day before was also ordering a kebab due to a canceled meeting – what are the chances of that?

About offthelongrun

Born in the UK in 1961 - I migrated to Australia in 1991. I've never been overweight, but I drink and eat too much and probably run too much nowadays!
