Did he say 17k?

I sort of watched “The biggest loser” for the first time tonight and was intrigued about that part when Jarrod was on the treadmill. He failed the first time by 5 seconds and then his trainer counted him down from 30 seconds on the second attempt.

Afterwards Jarrod said something along the lines of ” Not in my wildest dreams would I have thought I could run 17k on the treadmill” Did he say that? cos’ it sure didn’t look like he’d just run 17k and his trainer counting him down would mean that both treadmills would have started the same time and at exactly the same speed. Something doesn’t add up.

Still you gotta admire their courage.

Today I was up super early for a 4k run which turned out to be my most pleasing run for a long time – from a breathing and a comfort point of view. My new training plan is usually set for relative beginners and because of my long lay off, that’s how I’m viewing myself.

Day 10 of Febfast – still abstaining! That’s over 35% of the way, only 18 days to go.
